You’re Amazing
But are you taking the time to see it?
How often do we pause long enough to recognize our growth—and the ways that growth benefits others? In my last post, Death by Doubt, we explored how comparison, internal dialogue, and unrealistic expectations fuel self-doubt. These habits quietly limit our confidence and keep us questioning our worth. We also discussed ways to step outside those patterns. The natural next step is learning how to intentionally build yourself up—how to strengthen your confidence and live with purpose. This post is about doing exactly that.
Build the Evidence
Grab a pen and notepad, or open your journal. Writing matters. When we write things down—much like our goals—they become real. By the end of this exercise, you will have a body of evidence in front of you that clearly shows how amazing you truly are. For the next week or even the next month, begin creating a list of behaviors and actions you are proud of. Ask yourself:
What have I accomplished that moved me closer to my goals?
What problems did I solve?
Who did I positively impact this week?
I can guarantee this: you have made progress. You have helped someone. You have moved forward. Most of us simply fail to capture those moments. When we create a visual record of our growth, doubt loses its grip. This weekly practice becomes proof of momentum—and confidence grows where evidence exists.
Lead From Who You Are
What beliefs define who you are at your core? When you share your knowledge with colleagues, work within your strengths, and lead others with intention, you reinforce your identity as a leader. Consistency fills the gaps where doubt likes to grow. Consider:
Where are you showing up consistently?
How are you making others feel valued?
In what ways are you being a team player or helping others feel seen?
These actions may feel small, but repeated over time, they become powerful. This is what makes you amazing.
Commitment Creates Confidence
Commitment is a powerful practice—and it becomes transformational when you commit daily to being bigger, better, and taking meaningful action. Massive action builds momentum. More importantly, it silences doubt. Doubt doesn’t mean you lack ability or knowledge. It simply means you are stretching yourself. Growth requires you to change the voice in your head—the story you tell yourself. Reframe that narrative and allow your actions to become additional evidence of your capability. You are amazing because you choose commitment.
You are amazing because you take action—even when doubt is present.
Reflect and Act
Take a few moments to reflect:
Where and how are you tracking your growth and achievements?
How have you shared your strengths or beliefs to help lead others?
What commitment will you make this week to stretch yourself or serve someone else?
In case you haven’t noticed, this post is all about self-confidence. We must begin seeing ourselves as valuable assets—to our families, our teams, and the world around us. Confidence starts when we intentionally redirect our thoughts and align our actions with who we are becoming. This week, pause. Acknowledge how far you’ve come. Recognize the impact you’re making. And remind yourself—without hesitation—you are amazing.
